Litterarii Emeritus Chardonnay is a wine with an intense deep straw color and a golden sheen. It is pronounced in body, of a full and rich extract, enjoyable alcohol, and crunchy freshness.

The structure of the wine is layered, harmonious and balanced. The aromas are expressive with interweaving notes of lightly roasted almonds and hazelnuts with traces of meadow and spice herbs.

After manual harvesting, the grapes are stored and cooled under controlled conditions before processing. After the selection, processing is done by gently pressing the whole grapes in inert conditions. Fermentation takes place under controlled conditions at low temperatures. Upon completion of fermentation, the wine is aged on its own sediment (sur lie technology) in five-liter tonneaux barrels and 225-liter French and American oak barrique barrels for up to nine months, where it adopts its richness, fullness, and creaminess, and then for at least another six months in bottles.

Litterarii Emeritus Chardonnay is excellently paired with goose pate, truffles, and veal steaks.
